The biological name for the Haskap Berry is Lonicera Caerulea. For those who know their plant species it is a member of the honey suckle family and in fact this plant is occasionally referred to as the Blue Honeysuckle though it has to be said the shrub bears no resemblance to the honey suckle creeper often found in home gardens.
This plant grows in the form of a shrub similar to that of a Blue Berry.
